The premise goes as thus. Scientist discover how to create synthetic blood... which then draws the interests of the undead. Vampires - that were often thought of as myth... start crawling out of the wood work and soon integrate themselves with modern society. True Blood is about a lot more than just modern Vampires. Based on 'The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris' - the drama unfolds with many mysteries that will keep you engaged. Lost is a good example of a tv show that simply exists to tease it audience with meaningless mysteries. Remember the Polar bear at the start of the show - whatever happened to that? True Blood
Watch True Blood on Sunday or Mondays - depending on your location.

So after numerous seasons of watching Lost, Heroes and even Ugly Betty - I discovered True Blood, a modern vampire tale.
