After 'googling' for some royalty free icons, I stumbled across DryIcons. The website offers a vast amount of royalty free images that can be downloaded and used instantly - without having to create any sort of account! Ha-zaa! The tool images you see on this site are thanks to Dry Icons. And I can think of no better way of thanking them - but blogging about how amazing they are :-) A little bit about dry icons."DryIcons is Rabotilnica's first born (project). Not like any other icon developing website, DryIcons creates unique icons and icon sets and gives them away freely, that way giving priority to independent coders/developers, small design firms and organizations - against larger, well-funded corporations." Sometimes, there's a need to find some really spectacular pictures for a site design. Instead of paying an arm and a leg for images - you may want to try flickr. There are literally lots of images available - that can be used, so long as the owner of an image gives you the nod. |
