This female band from Brighton had been around for some time and I have really fond memories of watching them play at gigs. It saddens me however - knowing that they are on indefinite hiatus. What I like about their music is the multitude of instruments they make use of. To top it off, they are great to listen to - when you feel like unwinding. I remember listening to songs like Saturday, Cut and Run and The Lighthouse after delivering CMS lessons to staff across the country, for Mencaps Intranet and Internet sites. The message on the their website doesn't give any clue as to whether they will ever perform again :-( 'We have decided that the upcoming gigs will be our last for the foreseeable future. After ten years of much fun and hard work, we have realised that we all need a break and time to do other things. This was a tough decision for us to make, but ultimately a positive one.' Electrelane

I just received this wonderful surprise of an email from a dear friend. Knowing i'm a bit of a sucker for the arts - he sent me a link to this really cool site. They sell all kinds of art work, ranging from fine canvases to bathroom wallpaper. |
